# API Maker + Extensions

> API Maker + Extensions is the API Maker package installed with a license key. It adds Index Maker, which records the queries of your APIs and creates the indexes they need, and the deprecated UI Maker.

**API Maker + Extensions** is the API Maker package installed with a license key ([npm](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@sava-info-systems/api-maker-with-extensions), or the install script with `--license_key`). It adds Index Maker and UI Maker to the admin panel of every admin account. Their pages are in the [Guides](/v1/docs/guides/index.html).

    UI Maker is kept for the projects which use it and will be removed in API Maker v4. New admin screens are better built with any frontend framework on top of the [generated APIs](/v1/docs/apis-all/overview.html). Its pages stay here for reference.
