# Compare Code

> See what changed in the code of the account before it is pushed - the Git status lists every modified file, the compare editor shows two versions side by side, one diff shows everything.

The Git panel of the admin panel is where code is compared : every item the account changed since the last pull is listed with its kind of change, and each one opens in a compare editor.

| | |
|---|---|
| Where | The Git panel → **Git status of commit**. |
| Per file | **Compare** or **Open in compare editor** : the version of the branch next to the version of the account, differences highlighted line by line. |
| All at once | **View all changes in one diff**. |
| Undo | **Revert** puts the file back to the branch ; several files at once with **Revert selected**. |

- Versions of a custom API, a hook or a listener live as files of the item in Git, so a change of version shows in the same list.
- To find where a word is used rather than what changed, use the [code finder](https://docs.apimaker.dev/v1/docs/features/code-finder.html).
